VTech is using a CONNECT gateway, with point-to-point connectivity, as the transport mechanism to allow providers to electronically submit medical documentation, requested by Health Information Handlers, to Governmental Organizations. In later phases, this capability will expand to include use of the Nationwide Health Information Network and allow the exchange of information between providers and review contractors.
